Dominango represents an exceptional concentration of modern Grand Prix genetics. Bred by South Corner Europe, the 2022 Zangersheide stallion is by Dominator 2000 Z out of Taj Mahal van Ten Bos Z, by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve. With Christian Ahlmann, Dominator achieved CSI5* victories in Stockholm, Hamburg, Prague and Doha, establishing himself as one of the most exciting stallions of his generation. Remarkably, all five sires in Dominango’s direct pedigree competed at 1.60m level.

His maternal family is equally compelling. Dominango’s granddam Daytona de Muze competed at 1.60m and won the 2012 Nations Cup of Lisbon. His great-granddam Walloon de Muze also performed at Grand Prix level, while the fourth dam is the legendary Querly Chin—foundation mare of one of the most influential families in international showjumping. Successive generations have produced horses including Million Dollar, Freestyle de Muze and Toupie de la Roque.
