Summer ter Leydonck represents the kind of sport horse South Corner believes in: modern, powerful and produced for the long term. The 2018 BWP stallion combines the scope and reflexes of Bamako de Muze with the proven influence of Nabab de Rêve through his dam, Ibiza van de Kouterhoeve. His maternal family is already represented at 1.50m and 1.60m level, giving his athletic profile a strong performance foundation.

Summer first came to prominence at Krismar Stables. Under the guidance of Björn Nagel, he was then developed patiently and consistently from a promising young stallion into an international sport horse. In early 2026, the pair progressed into CSI2* competition at 1.40m level, including the Medium Tour at Riesenbeck. These appearances marked an important step in Summer’s education, allowing him to gain valuable experience in international arenas while demonstrating his power, quality and potential for the bigger classes.

From mid-2026, Summer enters his next chapter with Maximilian Weishaupt, a proven winner at the highest international level. With his power, balance, careful technique and competitive mindset, the focus is now on building experience at leading international shows and developing him progressively towards Grand Prix level. Summer is not simply a horse for today, but a carefully managed prospect for the future of the sport.
