Cassitango SC
CASSINI I x TANGELO VAN DE ZUUTHOEVE
2024
Cassitango SC combines legendary Holsteiner performance blood with an established Belgian maternal family. Born in 2024, the South Corner colt is by Cassini I out of Rosette, by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve and Nabab de Rêve. Cassini I enjoyed an international Grand Prix career before becoming one of Holstein’s defining sires. His offspring include 2006 individual World Champion Cumano and team World Champion Berlin.
Cassitango’s dam Rosette adds the blood of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, whose exceptional performers include Tobago Z, Darry Lou and Bintang II. Her dam, Jacobien van T&L, is by the influential Nabab de Rêve and descends from the family of BWP Ambassador Bentley van de Heffinck and 1.60m performer Quel Homme van de Heffinck. This maternal foundation brings generations of proven scope, reflexes and competitive quality.
As Rosette’s first offspring, Cassitango SC represents an important step in South Corner’s breeding programme. His early development has been particularly encouraging, with correct conformation, an attractive type and considerable promise. Now growing up at Friedrichskoog, he is being given the time to mature naturally. Cassitango SC represents an exciting prospect for South Corner: carefully selected genetics, thoughtfully raised and intended for a future in international sport.
