Cymbaline OS Z

CASALLO Z x CAVALIER ROYALE

2021

Zangersheide

Cymbaline OS Z unites continental performance blood with one of Ireland’s most influential sport families. The 2021 Zangersheide mare is by Casallo Z, the Casall–Carthago stallion who won the CSI5* Grand Prix of Estoril and Nations Cups in Dublin, Rome and Arezzo.

Her dam, Gowran Lady, by Cavalier Royale, produced eight international sport horses. Cymbaline is a half-sister to Olympic showjumper MHS Going Global, 1.60m performer MHS High Hopes and five-star eventer MHS King Joules. Gowran Lady is also the granddam of Cian O’Connor’s Olympic partner Kilkenny, giving Cymbaline a maternal foundation proven at championship level.

Selected for South Corner’s breeding programme, Cymbaline is already demonstrating exceptional breeding versatility. Four embryos out of her were selected for Team Nagel’s August 2026 online auction: a frozen embryo by Diamant de Semilly and implanted embryos by European Champion United Touch S, Chacco-Blue and Cassini I. The Chacco-Blue embryo is male and the Cassini I embryo female. These combinations with several of the world’s most influential sires underline her genetic value, versatility and commercial appeal. Cymbaline represents South Corner’s long-term vision: preserving outstanding female genetics to produce the next generation of international sport horses.
